Harper will be responsible for supporting business owners, entrepreneurs and founders throughout the entire business lifecycle, including planning for and executing a successful business exit.
She will also be responsible for connecting clients with a network of trusted professional advisers, helping them navigate the complexities of growth, succession and exit planning and ensuring they have access to the right expertise at every stage.
Reporting to Colin Monton, Head of Client Development – Corporate and Entrepreneurs, Harper joins from international legal firm Broadfield Law. Prior to that, she worked within business development at Birketts LLP and brings a strong network across the professional adviser community and deep understanding of the corporate transaction landscape.
The move follows the appointment of Annabel Hallsworth as Client Development Analyst in May, having joined from the fast-growing fintech business Zilch, alongside a number of recent additions to Quilter Cheviot's wider Business Development team.
Colin Monton, Head of Client Development – Corporate and Entrepreneurs at Quilter Cheviot, said: “Helen's extensive experience in corporate legal business development and her strong professional adviser network make her an excellent addition to the team. Her appointment reinforces our commitment to supporting business owners throughout their journey, helping them access the expertise and guidance they need from growth through to a successful exit."
Helen Harper, Business Development Manager at Quilter Cheviot, added: “Having spent a number of years helping businesses with their corporate activity, I am really excited to approach it from a wealth planning perspective and help entrepreneurs and business founders to achieve their own long-term financial objectives. Working closely with a variety of trusted professional connections, I look forward to creating a number of long-lasting relationships that help create successful outcomes for our business owner clients.”
