The Quilter Academy, the financial adviser training arm of Quilter, is pleased to announce it has exclusively partnered with FutureProof Pro which specialise in career transition supporting professional athletes and sports professionals to find second careers.
FutureProof Pro is a careers support service looking to transition into a new field after their successful sporting careers, which can be daunting for many.
It provides personalised development plans to help individuals discover a suitable job sector which is right for them. The service offers wide ranging areas of support, such as CV reviews, interview advice and career research, so that these athletes and sport professionals have a seamless transition into the workplace, that will meet their individual goals and aspirations.
In addition, the Quilter Academy has also partnered with, Life After Professional Sports (LAPS). LAPs offer a careers platform, advice, networking and job opportunities for future, current and former sports professionals.
LAPS provides support and career guidance to sports professionals through workshops, practice interviews as well as additional expertise with the aim of connecting them to the right opportunities.
Through these partnerships, the Quilter Academy hopes to further attract professional athletes, sports professionals and individuals from other specialist backgrounds to join the advice industry.
Former England rugby international Leanne Infante began her career as an adviser through the Quilter Academy and is just one notable example of a sport professional who has transferred her skills into a career as a financial adviser.
