Quilter has today announced its WealthSelect Managed Portfolio Service (MPS) has passed £25bn in assets under management, growing by 37% in the last year and cementing its position as the largest MPS provider in the market.

Assets stood at £25.4bn as at 31st December 2025, growing from £18.5bn at the same point in 2024. WealthSelect is now used by over 5,700 advisers with nearly 140,000 customers invested in the service, a 19% rise over 12 months.

WealthSelect has seen exceptional growth in recent years as the trend for outsourcing investment propositions has increased among advisers. The portfolios hit £10bn in AUM towards the end of 2022 and crossed the £20bn mark in May last year.

Launched on Quilter’s platform in February 2014 with active and blended portfolios, the service was expanded upon in 2022 with passive, responsible and sustainable options added to the range taking the number of portfolios from 16 to 56, making WealthSelect one of the most comprehensive MPS in the UK.

In recent years the portfolios have become available on a wider range of adviser platforms having been added to selected external platforms in 2024. In November last year WealthSelect was added to the Transact platform. The portfolios have been managed by Stuart Clark since launch and saw the introduction of portfolio managers Bethan Dixon in 2022 and Helen Bradshaw in 2023.

WealthSelect’s growth has helped drive investment assets managed by Quilter within its Affluent segment to £36.9bn.

Stuart Clark, portfolio manager of WealthSelect, said: “We continue to see phenomenal support from financial advisers and for that we are very grateful. Having been with WealthSelect since the beginning, it is a fantastic feeling to see it go past £25bn and continue to flourish in what is a very challenging and at times volatile investment market.

“WealthSelect has gone from strength to strength in recent year and I am excited to see what we can do for advisers and their clients going forward. Despite the growth, we will never rest on our laurels and will be on the lookout for new and exciting ways we can add value to client portfolios.”

Helen Bradshaw, portfolio manager of WealthSelect, added: “Having joined Stuart on WealthSelect nearly three years ago, it has been really exciting to see the growth of recent years.

“We want to provide advisers with a wide array of options so that they can personalise their advice for their client and truly meet their needs. Especially in the turbulent times of the 2020s, the portfolios have proven to not only grow wealth over the long-term, but also protect it at times of market strife. We are very proud of that record and look forward to continuing to work closely with clients to deliver quality client outcomes.”
