Quilter has today announced a significant expansion of the responsible investment team within its affluent division.

Following a successful interim tenure, Ido Eisenberg has been confirmed as head of responsible investment of the affluent division. Eisenberg brings over 20 years of experience in asset management, investment and sustainability, including at JP Morgan Asset Management and more recently as a director at Deloitte, where he led the asset and wealth management ESG Risk advisory team within the sustainable finance group.

Joining Eisenberg’s team are two new hires. Maggie Jou has been appointed RI reporting & implementation manager, joining from Deloitte, where she also worked in the sustainable finance team. Jou will be responsible for the regulatory reporting required of the business and ensuring consistency, accuracy and efficiency across Quilter’s sustainable reporting obligations.

Meanwhile, Roz Yazdan will join as an ESG Analyst. Yazdan has over five years of experience in ESG integration and stewardship, most recently at MainStreet Partners where she worked on product development in the sustainable and responsible investment space.

In addition to these new hires, Quilter has promoted two existing members of the team. Nikki Williamson has been promoted to integration and stewardship lead, recognising her continued contributions to embedding ESG considerations into investment processes and leading engagement initiatives. Furthermore, Will Miller has been promoted to responsible investment data lead, where he will oversee the use of data analytics to support investment decision-making and reporting.

The team works across the multi-asset, platform and advice businesses that make up Quilter’s affluent division. They work especially closely with the WealthSelect Managed Portfolio Service team to support the responsible and sustainable ranges, which are run by portfolio managers Stuart Clark, Helen Bradshaw and Bethan Dixon.

Marcus Brookes, managing director and chief investment officer at Quilter, commented:

“Responsible investment is a core pillar of our investment philosophy. Ido has done a fantastic job in the short time he has been here, enabling us to significantly enhance our capabilities. Our goal is to provide advisers, their clients and our investment teams with high-quality ESG insights and solutions and this progress allows us to do just that.”

Ido Eisenberg, head of responsible investment at Quilter, added:

“I’m thrilled to lead such a talented and growing team at a time when, despite growing scrutiny, responsible investment is more important than ever. Our mission is to empower financial advisers with sustainable products and insights that support their clients’ financial success as well as their environmental and social values, while equipping all our portfolio managers with the critical data to manage climate and other ESG risks effectively With our expanded team, we are well-positioned to deepen ESG integration, enhance stewardship, and deliver on the objectives we set out to achieve.”
