Quilter Financial Planning, part of Quilter plc, the FTSE 250 wealth manager, has welcomed eight new appointed representative firms to its advice network.

The new firms joining the network are:
  • Quantus Wealth Management, based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, led by Alex Guthrie. He is setting up the business after several years in the financial advice industry, having worked across both independent advisory and specialist roles, advising private clients and business owners.

  • Marston & Co, based in Lemington Spa, led by James Marston. He joins the advice network following previously being a self-employed adviser in Quilter’s national business, Quilter Financial Advisers.

  • Control Point Wealth, based in Royal Tunbridge Wells, led by Gareth Munn. He established the firm after nearly 25 years in the wealth management industry, having worked across a number of advice businesses before launching Control Point Wealth to focus on business owners and entrepreneurs.

  • Alto Integra Wealth Management, based in Romsey, Hampshire and London, is led by Ryan Perkins and Matthew Willee. Ryan joins the advice network after operating as a self-employed adviser with Quilter Financial Advisers and brings more than 20 years of industry experience. Matthew, a chartered accountant, has recently attained his Diploma in Financial Advice.

  • AK Private Wealth, based in London, led by Naila Latif Mirza. She founded the firm in January 2026 after leaving a private banking background.

  • Everstone Wealth, based in Bexleyheath, Kent, led by Adam Holt, who is launching his own business after several years in the financial advice industry, most recently as a chartered financial planner at Apropos Wealth Management.

  • Henley & Co. Wealth Management, based in Worthing, is led by Luke Henley. He's spent a number of years advising high‑net‑worth individuals in Worthing and the surrounding areas before launching his own practice to continue this work, with a particular focus on retirement and intergenerational wealth planning.

  • Sterling Financial Wealth, based in Burgess Hill is led by Rob MacMahon, who established the firm after building long‑standing client relationships and experience in holistic financial planning.
Warren Vickers, managing director of Quilter Financial Planning says:

“We are seeing a growing number of experienced advisers choosing Quilter Financial Planning as the platform from which to launch their own advice businesses, rather than joining existing firms.

“Many advisers want the autonomy to build something of their own and shape a business around how they believe advice should be delivered, while still operating within a framework that provides the regulatory, operational and investment support required in today’s market.

“That balance of independence and oversight is a key reason why advisers are choosing to start the next phase of their careers with Quilter Financial Planning, and we are pleased to support these firms as they establish and grow their businesses.”

Alex Guthrie, financial planner and managing director of Quantus Wealth Management added:

“I’m delighted to join Quilter Financial Planning as an Appointed Representative. I chose the network because of its outstanding reputation, robust support infrastructure, and commitment to helping advisers deliver the very best outcomes for their clients – everything I need to grow my business and provide the high standard of service my clients expect.”
