Quilter Cheviot named title sponsor of squash's 2026 British Open

Quilter Cheviot, the high-net-worth wealth management arm of Quilter plc, has been named the title sponsor of this years British Open, the prestigious squash tournament held at the spectacular Birmingham Rep Theatre between May 30 - June 7, 2026.

The Quilter Cheviot British Open is the longest-running event on the PSA Squash Tour and 2026 will mark the tournaments fourth successive year at The Rep since making its home in Birmingham in 2023.

The tournament has been running since 1929 and some of the greatest players ever to pick up a squash racket have lifted the iconic trophy aloft, such as Perus Diego Elias and Egypts Nouran Gohar, who claimed the silverware in 2025. $740,000 of total player compensation will be up for grabs this year.

The Quilter Cheviot British Open will host 96 players throughout nine days of intense action, while a qualifying tournament will take place between May 26-28 at Solihull Arden Club. Selected matches will be held at Solihull Arden for the first three days of competition, while the glass show court at The Rep will be erected from May 31.
