Quilter’s customer app reaches 100,000 milestone

The customer app for Quilter’s platform recently reached its 100,000th download, just over a year after launching.

Launched in November 2022 and available to Quilter platform customers, the app is designed to enhance the online customer experience and provide advisers’ clients with a high quality, secure means of accessing their investments and documents quickly and easily.

The app also helps advisers reinforce the relationship with their clients by including details of each client’s adviser and their firm prominently within the app and each adviser firm has full control over what details appear for their clients.

During 2023, the app registered 5.35m logins by users and is currently rated 4.8 out of five on both the Apple and Google Play stores, with nearly 10,000 reviews left.

The customer app is one of a series of innovations brought in over the past year or so. As well as the app, Quilter has recently launched tiered adviser charging, an app hub hosted on the platform and a new cash management platform.

Jeremy Mugridge, marketing director at Quilter, said: “To have over 100,000 downloads after just over a year is a remarkable achievement and highlights that having a technology first service is non-negotiable today. It is vital that clients have access to their financial information in real time and are kept engaged with their investments. We’ve had a great feedback from clients and advisers, and we hope that even more customers will download the app and see how it can help them stay better connected with their investments.

“The app has also given us the opportunity to ensure clients have visibility of the value financial advice brings. We put the adviser at the core when designing this app, bringing in additional personalisation for them so that they could support their own clients in engaging with their finances.”
