Quilter Financial Planning, one of the UK’s leading financial advice networks, is pleased to announce that it is welcoming two new appointed representative firms to its network.

Quilter has partnered with Sports Media and Entertainment Wealth Management, a newly formed business led by former Coutts’ chartered wealth manager, Obinna Ikedife.

The business specialises in providing bespoke and comprehensive wealth advice for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients across the sports, media and entertainment sectors. Obinna has over 15 years of experience in the industry and has worked with some of the most prominent names in the fields of football, music, film and television.

In addition, Holroyd Wealth Management joins Quilter Financial Planning as a strategic partner. The firm is based in North Somerset and Bristol and consists of principal and chartered financial planner, Anthony Holroyd who was previously a wealth manager at HSBC.

The firm will provide investment, retirement and protection advice. Anthony has over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector and has also held roles at Attivo and NatWest.

Stephen Fryett, managing director of Quilter Financial Planning says:

“We are pleased to welcome these two new firms led by incredibly experienced principals to our network. Both Obi and Anthony have big ambitions to grow their respective businesses and share our commitment to delivering high-quality advice and service to their clients. We look forward to supporting their growth and development with Quilter Financial Planning.”

Obinna Ikedife, principal of Sports Media and Entertainment Wealth Management adds:

“I am really excited to take this next step in my career by building my own firm and being a part of the Quilter Financial Planning network. We chose Quilter because of their strong reputation and their comprehensive range of support. Helping sports and entertainment clients with their financial planning is a true passion of mine as they have unique and complex needs, and benefit hugely from advice.”

Anthony Holroyd, principal of Holroyd Wealth Management concludes:

“We are proud to join Quilter as a strategic partner and we’re confident the network will provide us with the tools, resources and guidance to grow the business and serve our clients. Having worked in the advice industry for over two decades I am thrilled to be starting my own firm and help provide high quality financial planning to my clients in the south west and beyond.”
