It is with great sadness that Quilter announces the death of its Commercial and Propositions Director, David Tiller, at the age of 56.
David passed away on Wednesday 28 December whilst out walking with friends in the Lake District.
David was deeply respected throughout the wealth management sector, having enjoyed a long and successful career in financial services, including over 20 years at Standard Life (now abrdn). He had extensive experience working within wealth management and was responsible for a number of platform market and investment technology innovations.
During his time at abrdn, he held various senior roles including most recently Global Head of Client Technology Solutions.
He also held non-executive roles with Origo, Criterion and Tenet over the course of his career.
He was appointed by Quilter to lead its commercial and propositions teams in September 2021.
Steven Levin, CEO of Quilter said: “We are all desperately saddened by the news of David’s passing and our condolences and thoughts are with his family at this time.
“We have benefited from David’s deep industry knowledge, and I feel grateful to have worked with him. He had already made a significant impact in our business and had brought together people from across our proposition, product and marketing teams to help us create more compelling client and adviser propositions. He will be greatly missed by us all at Quilter.”
