On the weekend of 9/10 September 2023, 30 Quilter advisers and colleagues completed a climb to the top of Mount Snowdon to raise vital funds for the Quilter Foundation.

The team covered a total distance of 13km to reach the highest point in England and Wales and raised over £5,000 for the Quilter Foundation which will be matched pound for pound by Quilter, resulting in total of more than £10,000 raised.

The funds will go towards the Quilter Foundation’s Local Community Fund which offers grants of up to £10,000 to local charities nominated by Quilter employees and advisers. The Local Community Fund supports the Quilter Foundation’s mission to improve the lives of over 100,000 young people in its local communities and has so far supported 24 charities.

Harvey Rathore,  Quilter Foundation Engagement Lead said: “We would like to thank all everyone who participated in the climb of Mount Snowdon last weekend, both -physically and virtually. The team’s  perseverance, determination and commitment has led to a considerable sum of over £10,000 being raised for The Quilter Foundation.

“The funds raised will contribute to The Quilter Foundation’s commitment to supporting local communities and wider society, with a particular focus on empowering young people to thrive and prosper."

Dina Khetia, Business Support Manager at Quilter, who completed the climb said: “Climbing Mount Snowdon was definitely one of the hardest things I have done but the sense of comradery and support you get, not just within our team but also from others that are climbing the mountain, was amazing and kept everyone going. I’m so proud that we have managed to raise over £10,000, with matching from Quilter, for The Quilter Foundation.”
